When a law firm calls itself “regional,” what does that mean? All too often, it refers to a collection of satellite offices and a dominant main office, or multiple offices operating autonomously. It is not clear that clients benefit from either approach.
At Phelps Dunbar, “regional” means something quite different. We long ago adopted a “one firm” culture — as opposed to an office-centric one — with the understanding that this was by far the best way to serve our clients. The idea is to make it easy for you to tap into the wealth of experience available across all our offices, without regard to where any one attorney actually sits. The result is a true “regional” culture, in which our practice groups and industry teams work together for the entire Third Coast and beyond.
Our firm is further distinguished by a deep involvement in the business and social structures of our communities. We know the business and political leaders, serving with them as volunteers on non-profit boards, local industry associations, and economic development groups. Our knowledge and experience can help you achieve your goals in the Third Coast.
We think regionally, and we act locally. We welcome the opportunity to serve you.
