Phelps Dunbar Receives the 2002 DRI Law Firm Diversity Award

Phelps Dunbar LLP was recently presented with the 2002 Law Firm Diversity Award by the Defense Research Institute (DRI) on October 3 at the DRI 2002 Annual Meeting in San Francisco, California.

Phelps Dunbar was selected among DRI member law firms to receive the award after the firm submitted a formal response to a DRI questionnaire that was asked of all of its members prior to the annual meeting.

Established in 2002, the DRI Law Firm Diversity Award recognizes the DRI member law firm that has achieved outstanding diversity goals. The recipient of the award consisted of a law firm that achieved significant success in the area of law department management while also demonstrating a commitment to increase diversity within and outside their legal departments.

DRI is the national organization of defense trial lawyers and corporate counsel. DRI offers opportunities for liaison among defense trial lawyers, Corporate America and state and local defense organizations.
