Phelps Dunbar LLP Employment Law Partner President of the New Orleans Bar Association
Phelps Dunbar LLP is pleased to announce that Employment Law Partner Kim M.
Boyle has been installed as the first African-American president of the New
Orleans Bar Association on Thursday, November 21 at the 78th Annual Dinner Meeting.
Ms. Boyle practices in the areas of labor and employment, civil rights, constitutional
law and commercial litigation. Prior to joining Phelps Dunbar, Ms. Boyle served
as Judge Pro Tempore for Division I, Civil District Court, Orleans Parish and
was a member of the faculty of Loyola University School of Law.
In addition to the New Orleans Bar Association, Ms. Boyle is an active member
of both the Louisiana State and American Bar Associations. She also serves on
the boards of many local civic and charitable organizations, including the New
Orleans Legal Assistance Corporation, the Bureau of Governmental Research (BGR),
and the NO/AIDS Task Force.
