Phelps Dunbar opened its Tampa office in April 2001 as a
part of the firm’s goal of becoming the preeminent firm in the
gulf coast region of the United States. With the growth in the
Tampa Bay region, as well as the state of Florida as a whole,
the Tampa office is well positioned to become one of Phelps
Dunbar’s leading offices in the firm’s regional business and
real estate practice areas.
Since its opening, the Tampa office has grown from four
partners and two associates to approximately 40 attorneys. While Phelps
Dunbar attorneys participate in a regionalized practice group
approach offering a full range of service, attorneys in the
