Phelps Dunbar Welcomes a New Attorney in Baton RougeApril 08, 2009Phelps Dunbar LLP is pleased to announce that the Baton Rouge office has recently hired Christine Fox Roussel. Ms. Roussel has joined the firm as staff attorney in the regional insurance and reinsurance practice group. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, in 2004 from Tulane University, where she was a member of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law. She received her Masters of Philosophy, Ethnic and Racial Studies in 2001 from the University of Dublin, Trinity College, and her B.A., summa cum laude, in Political Science in 2000 from Louisiana State University. Her previous experience includes business representation in a variety of complex commercial and civil actions, including first and third party insurance disputes, contractual disputes and tort actions. Christine has also represented businesses in securities actions, internal investigations, government contracts and antitrust actions. Ms. Roussel is admitted to practice in Louisiana, Washington, D.C., and Maryland.
