Phelps Dunbar's New Orleans office was selected as #3 on the list of New Orleans CityBusiness' 2007 Best Places to Work among large companies (over 50 employees). CityBusiness evaluates companies based on a wide array of factors, the main ones being "how important employees are to the company and how much focus a company puts on providing a positive, productive and rewarding atmosphere for its workers." Specific areas researched include salary, benefits, employee recognition programs, continuing education and paid time off. The winners were recognized at an awards luncheon on Friday, December 14, 2007, at the Sheraton in downtown New Orleans.
