Phelps Dunbar Welcomes a New Attorney in New Orleans

Phelps Dunbar LLP is pleased to announce that the New Orleans office has recently hired Meredith B. Cody.

Ms. Cody has joined the firm as a staff attorney in the regional insurance and reinsurance practice group. She has a broad range of experience including environmental, toxic tort, general civil and commercial litigation, products liability, labor and employment, oil and gas, and negotiable instruments. Ms. Cody received her LL.M. in Energy and Environmental Law, with distinction, in 2005 from Tulane University, where she was a member of the Tulane Environmental Law Journal. She received her J.D. from Loyola University in 2001 and her B.A. in History from Tulane University in 1995.

Ms. Cody is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the District of Columbia Bar Association.
