Phelps Dunbar Welcomes a New Attorney in Baton Rouge

Phelps Dunbar LLP is pleased to announce that the Baton Rouge office has recently hired Daina Bray.

Ms. Bray has joined the firm as an associate in the regional commercial litigation group. She received her J.D., with pro bono distinction, in 2004 from Stanford Law School, where she was a senior editor and lead articles editor of the Stanford Journal of International Law. She received her B.A. in International Studies, with distinction and highest honors, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1998. Ms. Bray's previous experience includes advising both public and private clients in disputes before various arbitration institutions and in U.S. court. She has particular experience advising clients on disputes relating to the energy and insurance sectors, and she has advised clients on points of U.S. law relevant to dispute resolution and international business. Ms. Bray has also represented clients in immigration and constitutional litigation and is fluent in Spanish.

Ms. Bray is licensed to practice in Louisiana and New York. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the American Society of International Law.
