New Associates at Phelps Dunbar LLP

Phelps Dunbar LLP is pleased to announce the that 18 new associates have recently joined the firm in five regional offices: New Orleans and Baton Rouge, LA; Tupelo, MS; Houston, TX; and Tampa, FL.

NEW ORLEANS

Bart C. Bacigalupi is an associate in the regional business practice group. He received his J.D. in 2007 from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Barristers, Moot Court and the Loyola University Inn of Court. Mr. Bacigalupi received his B.S. in Accounting from Louisiana State University in 2004. He is admitted to practice in Louisiana.

Colin B. Cambre is an associate in the regional admiralty practice group. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, in 2007 from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law, where he was a William L. Crowe Scholar. Mr. Cambre received his B.S. in Business Administration and Law from Louisiana State University in 2004. He is admitted to practice in Louisiana.

Alexis A. Polk is an associate in the regional insurance and reinsurance practice group. She received her J.D. in 2007 from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law, where she was Chair of the Selection Committee and a Board Member of the Loyola Moot Court. She was also a member of the Order of the Barristers and the recipient of the Loyola Law Excellence Award for Civil Law Obligations and Business Organizations. Ms. Polk received her B.A., cum laude, in Mass Communication from Louisiana State University in 2004. She is admitted to practice in Louisiana.

MaryJo Roberts is an associate in the regional labor and employment law practice group. She received her J.D. and Certificate in Civil Law, cum laude, in 2006 from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law, where she was a William L. Crowe Scholar and a member of the Loyola Moot Court and the Loyola Law Review. She served as a clerk for the Honorable James J. Brady of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana from 2006-2007. Ms. Roberts received her B.A., summa cum laude, in Political Science from the University of New Orleans in 2002. She is admitted to practice in Louisiana.

D. Skylar Rosenbloom is an associate in the commercial litigation practice group. He received his J.D., cum laude, in 2007 from Washington and Lee University, where he was the Managing Editor of the Washington and Lee Law Review. He is also a certified public accountant. Mr. Rosenbloom received his B.S.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Georgetown University in 2001. He is admitted to practice in Louisiana.

Raymond T. Waid is an associate in the regional admiralty practice group. He received his J.D., cum laude, in 2007 from Tulane University. He received his B.A., magna cum laude, in Political Science and Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1999. Mr. Waid served in the U.S. Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer with the rank of Lieutenant (O-3) from 2000-2004. He is admitted to practice in Louisiana.

BATON ROUGE

Karen J. Blakemore is an associate in the firm's regional litigation practice group. She practices in the areas of environmental counseling and litigation. Prior to entering law school, she served as an Air Quality Specialist for the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality and URS Corporation. She received her J.D. and B.C.L. degrees in 2007 from Louisiana State University Law Center, where she was a member of the National Environmental Law Moot Court Team (2006 National Champions) and recipient of the Wex S. Malone American Inns of Court Scholarship. Ms. Blakemore also received her M.S. in Environmental Science in 1992 from Louisiana State University, where she was a recipient of the Air & Waste Management Association Scholarship. She received her B.S. in Merchandising from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1987. She is admitted to practice in Louisiana.

Jessica L. Coco is an associate in the firm's regional labor and employment law group. Prior to joining Phelps Dunbar, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable W. Eugene Davis, United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. She received her J.D. and B.C.L. degrees in 2006 from Louisiana State University Law Center, where she was on the Board of Editors of the Louisiana Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif. Ms. Coco received her B.S., summa cum laude, in Business Administration from Louisiana State University in 2002. She is admitted to practice in Louisiana.

Lucie R. Kantrow is an associate in the firm's regional business practice group. She received her J.D. and B.C.L. degrees in 2007 from Louisiana State University Law Center, where she was a member of the Louisiana Law Review. Ms. Kantrow received her A.B. in Politics from Princeton University in 1999. She is admitted to practice in Louisiana.

Alexander J. Mijalis is an associate in the firm's regional litigation practice group. He received his J.D. and B.C.L. degrees in 2007 from Louisiana State University Law Center, where he was the Managing Editor of the Louisiana Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif. Mr. Mijalis received his B.S., magna cum laude, in Political Science from Texas A&M University in 2003. He is admitted to practice in Louisiana.

Laranda L. Moffett is an associate in the litigation practice group. She received her J.D. and B.C.L. degrees in 2007 from Louisiana State University Law Center, where she was a member of the National Moot Court Team, National Trial Team, LSU Moot Court Board, LSU Trial Advocacy Board and the Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Team. Ms. Moffett received her B.A. in Communications from Mississippi State University in 2002. She is admitted to practice in Louisiana.

Brett M. Sides is an associate in the firm's regional business practice group. He served as a pilot in the United States Navy from 1994 to 2003. He received his J.D. and B.C.L. degrees in 2007 from Louisiana State University Law Center, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. Mr. Sides received his B.A. in Political Science from Louisiana State University in 1993. He is admitted to practice in Louisiana.

TUPELO

Stephen J. Cramblitt, Jr. is an associate in the firm's regional commercial litigation practice group as an associate. Mr. Cramblitt received his J.D., cum laude, in 2007 from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he was Chairman of the Ole Miss/Mississippi College Competition Committee and a member of the Moot Court Board. He received his B.B.A., magna cum laude, in Managerial Finance from the University of Mississippi in 2000. He is admitted to practice in Mississippi.

Jared W. Eastlack is an associate in the firm's regional commercial litigation practice group as an associate. Mr. Eastlack received his J.D. in 2007 from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he was Executive Articles Editor of the Mississippi Law Journal. He received his B.A., summa cum laude, in Economics from Mississippi College in 2004. He is admitted to practice in Mississippi.

HOUSTON

Andrew A. Woellner is an associate in the firm's regional admiralty and tort litigation practice group. He received his J.D., cum laude, in 2007 from University of Houston Law Center, where he served as Fundraising Editor of the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal and a member of the Order of the Barons. Mr. Woellner received his B.A. in Political Science from Trinity University in 2004. He is admitted to practice in Texas.

TAMPA

Abby J. Bourgeois is an associate in the firm's regional business and finance practice group. She received her J.D. in 2007 from the University of Florida's Fredric G. Levin College of Law. Ms. Bourgeois received her B.S. in Business and Finance from the University of Florida in 2004. She is admitted to practice in Florida.

Ryan C. Hasanbasic is an associate in the firm's regional commercial litigation practice group. He received his J.D., cum laude, in 2007 from Stetson University College of Law, where he was a member of the Stetson Law Review and recipient of the Ruden McClosky Distinguished Writing Award. Mr. Hasanbasic received his B.S. in Political Science, magna cum laude, from University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2003. He is admitted to practice in Florida.

Travis D. Watson is an associate in the firm's regional insurance and reinsurance practice group. He received his J.D., cum laude, in 2007 from Florida State University College of Law, where he was a member of the Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law. Mr. Watson received his B.A. in Political Science from Brigham Young University in 2004. He is admitted to practice in Florida.
