Attorney Returns to Phelps Dunbar as Counsel

Phelps Dunbar LLP is pleased to announce that the New Orleans office has recently hired a new attorney.

Pamela G. Michiels has rejoined the firm's regional insurance and reinsurance practice group as counsel in the New Orleans office. She practices in the areas of insurance coverage counseling and litigation. Pam has extensive experience counseling both domestic and overseas insurers in coverage and placing matters that involve environmental, construction defect, professional liability, oilfield, intellectual property, employment and extra-contractual claims under primary liability, umbrella/excess, first party and energy policies.

Ms. Michiels received her J.D., cum laude, from Tulane University in 1990. She also received her B.A. from Tulane University in 1985. Ms. Michiels is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
