David D. "Beau" Haynes

Beau Haynes focuses his practice on the representation of health care providers addressing legal and regulatory issues, including corporate issues; mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures; private securities offerings; recruitment and employment contracts; management agreements; compensation arrangements and other matters of general health care law.


  • Serves as lead counsel in current transactions involving the sale of a pharmacy and home healthcare organization.
  • Advise and assist multiple healthcare providers in the development of a concierge medicine platform.
  • Advise and assist multiple healthcare providers regarding compliance requirements for the proper use of telehealth.
  • Advise and assist multiple pharmacies and pharmacy networks regarding healthcare-related issues, including, but not limited to, providing compliance recommendations with regard to state and federal health care fraud and abuse laws, reviewing contractual relationships including marketing agreements, managing and preparing PBM appeals, providing advice on proposed changes to legislation to protect independent pharmacies from PBM anti-competitive behavior, and assisting with acquisition and/or expansion efforts.
  • Testified before the Louisiana Senate Health and Welfare Committee in opposition to a bill that would limit physician-ownership in compound pharmacies.
  • Advise and assist a physician-led client in the development of a strategic relationship with a hospital to operate a free-standing emergency room department.
  • Served as lead counsel for the seller in recent transactions involving the sale of five diagnostic imaging centers.
  • Advise and assist multiple physicians regarding employment relationships with integrated health systems or hospitals including, but not limited to, review of employment contracts, recruitment agreements and bonus compensation arrangements.
