May 27, 2016

NEW ORLEANS – Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business has recognized lawyers and practices at five of Phelps Dunbar’s Third Coast offices for excellence in the field, with 16 of the firm’s practice areas and 37 lawyers receiving the distinction of being ranked in Chambers this year.

Chambers and Partners is well known for publishing guides of business lawyers across the world, and releases its annual guide to lawyers and law firms in the United States each spring. Chambers rankings are determined by independent research by staff researchers, extensive interviews with the lawyers themselves as well as clients, and information provided by the firms on recent matters. In order to be ranked by Chambers, lawyers must exhibit superior performance in categories such as technical legal ability, client service, professionalism, and diligence. A full-time staff of about 150 editors and researchers work year-round to produce Chambers guides.
