Practice

Hugh is a partner in the admiralty and tort regional practice group in the New Orleans office. He has trial and appellate experience in various aspects of maritime law, including collision, stranding, machinery damage, general average, fire and FD&D. Hugh has been awarded the "AV" rating by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, which is the highest possible rating for legal ability and ethical standards. Prior to joining Phelps Dunbar, Hugh was with the Terriberry, Carroll, & Yancey, L.L.P. law firm in New Orleans.
