Dan manages Phelps Dunbar's gaming practice in all states in which the firm has offices - Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas and Florida. He is a partner in the firm's Jackson, Mississippi, office and has fourteen years experience representing gaming clients. Dan represents both domestic and international clients (including casinos, manufacturers, distributors, lessors, shareholders, officers, directors, key employees and other persons) before gaming authorities with regard to licensing, registration, findings of suitability, transfers of ownership, work permits, patron disputes, investigations, disciplinary proceedings and other regulatory matters. He has also represented clients in several other states regarding proposed gaming legislation and has testified as an expert witness before numerous legislative committees.
