George has been at the firm since 1979, and is the partner responsible for coordination of the admiralty and tort litigation groups in all offices. He practices in the areas of maritime and oilfield contracts and charters, maritime personal injury defense, maritime collision and property damage, and insurance coverage and litigation. He represents maritime interests, oil companies, oilfield service companies, vessel owners, and underwriters in personal injury defense litigation and in connection with collisions, allisions, and sinkings. George also represents general liability and marine underwriters in regard to coverage issues. In addition to his legal experience, he has been trained as a mediator. George has been awarded the "AV" rating by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, which is the highest possible rating for legal ability and ethical standards.  He is also among a select group of lawyers, recognized in the national category of Transportation: Shipping Litigation (outside New York), listed in a nationwide client survey published in Chambers USA, America's Leading Lawyers for Business and The Best Lawyers in America.
