Kelsey is a partner in the litigation group in the Baton Rouge office. She practices in the areas of commercial, construction and insurance litigation. Her practice is a regional one, which extends to both federal and state courts and includes work in both the district and appellate courts. Kelsey has also successfully represented numerous clients in both mediation and arbitration in Louisiana, as well as other parts of the United States. In her construction practice, she has represented suppliers, subcontractors, general contractors and owners in a wide array of litigation matters including delay claims, claims for additional compensation and breach of contract claims. Kelsey regularly counsels clients regarding the drafting and negotiation of construction contracts. She has experience filing and enforcing liens under the Private Works Act and asserting claims against public works surety bonds. Kelsey has successfully aided numerous clients in connection with their Louisiana contractors licensing issues. In commercial matters, Kelsey has handled claims involving a variety of issues including products liability, anti-trust, premises liability, and tax sale redemption. Her insurance practice has involved issues of environmental coverage, professional liability and suretyship. In addition to her professional practice, she has been involved in various bar association activities and community service projects.

- Defended E & O insurer of construction manager against $1 million breach of contract claim by owner.
