Products Liability
Tracey is a staff attorney in the insurance and reinsurance practice group in the New Orleans office. Specifically, Tracey's practice focuses on the area of insurance coverage counseling and litigation. She counsels certain underwriters at Lloyd's of London, certain London market insurance companies, and various international and domestic insurers relative to insurance coverage issues involving asbestos, construction defect, employment, errors and omissions, health hazard, malpractice, pollution-related and professional liability claims. Tracey's practice entails detailed analytical writing; extensive legal research; review of insurance policy documentation, contracts and federal and state laws, statutes and regulations; communication with numerous entities, including state and federal agencies; drafting and responding to written discovery; drafting various pleadings, including motions; deposing plaintiffs and witnesses; conducting other pre-trial discovery; and representing client at motion hearings and pre-trial status conferences.
In addition to working in the insurance coverage group, Tracey has been associated with the Tort Litigation group, in which she represented a domestic company in various products liability cases pending in Louisiana.
