Philip is a senior partner in the firm's business group in the New Orleans office. His business practice includes banking, commercial, real estate and probate. Philip represents various financial institutions in dozens of transactions involving financing of real estate construction, mergers and acquisitions and working capital. He also represents several real estate developers in connection with various development projects, from major office buildings to shopping centers. Philip represents as general counsel a large petrochemical manufacturer in connection with all aspects of business, from contract preparation and review to financing and real estate matters, to corporate formation and restructuring, and also supervised for the manufacturer other activities, such as environmental, personal, tax, and employee benefit matters. He is among a select group of lawyers, recognized in the categories of Banking & Finance and Real Estate, listed in a nationwide client survey published in Chambers USA, America's Leading Lawyers for Business. In addition, Philip has been recognized by the publication Best Lawyers in America as well as Who's Who in America and Who's Who in American Law.
