Brent is a partner and the practice coordinator of the commercial litigation group in the New Orleans office. He represents clients in a wide variety of commercial disputes, including bankruptcy and creditors' rights, securities litigation, breach of contract, business valuation disputes, and class actions. Brent has been named one of Louisiana's top ten litigators by the National Law Journal, rated as a top litigator by Chambers USA: America's Leading Business Lawyers (2004-2005), and one of the Best Lawyers in America.
