Jeff is a partner in the business regional practice group in the firm's Baton Rouge office. His practice consists of business transactional and regulatory matters with emphasis on casino gaming transactions. In particular, Jeff focuses on gaming transactions requiring local gaming regulatory approvals and other complex transactional and regulatory matters, often working closely with the firm's gaming lawyers in Mississippi to achieve efficiencies for the client in both jurisdictions. In this context, he has represented casino operators, management, investors, lenders, manufacturers and other vendors in their Louisiana gaming regulatory matters. His practice has also involved complex commercial real estate transactions, representing lenders, and developers in acquisitions, development matters, divestitures, and commercial loan closings. He has previously worked on the development of Louisiana banking forms, business entity formation, stock sales and entity mergers, alcohol licensing and other general business matters. Jeff has been a guest lecturer in an office practice course at LSU Law School. He is also among a select group of lawyers, recognized in the category of Gaming & Licensing, listed in a nationwide client survey published in Chambers USA, America's Leading Lawyers for Business for 2005, 2006 and 2007.
